The ISTAART Ambassador Program (previously known as the ISTAART Student Volunteer Program at AAIC®) connects early career researchers with year-round professional development and networking opportunities. Using virtual, regional, and professional networks, Ambassadors build awareness of ISTAART activities throughout the year and at scientific meetings such as the Alzheimer's Association International Conference® (AAIC®). Upon completion of the program, Ambassadors join a network of volunteer alumni for continued collaborations.
To apply, an online application and faculty recommendation must be submitted.
Applications for 2023 are now closed. The call for the 2024 cohort will open in February.

"Being an ISTAART Ambassador has given me experiences and opportunities that I used to dream of. I've met some fantastic scientists in the field, achieved a lot of 'firsts' - first international conference, first time in the US, first poster, first time moderating a session... and uncovered new skills - all thanks to ISTAART and the Alzheimer's Association. Best part of my PhD to date!"
