Alzheimer’s Association International Conference Advancements: Toward Health Equity in Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias is being hosted to support vital health equity in Alzheimer’s research and drive collaboration across the dementia science field among early career researchers and experienced investigators.

Toward Health Equity in ADRD — previously called Addressing Health Disparities — will be the third conference planned and hosted in partnership with the National Institute on Aging (NIA). The 2023 event will explore inequities in prevention, diagnosis and treatment of Alzheimer’s and related dementias. The event will also provide a vital platform for discussion, networking and mentorship opportunities among early career and senior investigators.

Research Themes
Alzheimer’s and dementia researchers are invited to submit an abstract for a poster presentation on the following research themes within the NIA Health Disparities Research Framework:

• Behavioral factors.
• Biological factors.
• Environmental factors.
• Sociocultural factors.
