Overview
This Health Policy PIA is focused on the impact of health policy and health systems on dementia. This PIA was developed to convene individuals with expertise, as well as those who are interested in developing knowledge of dementia policy and interventions. The goal is to help coordinate efforts to better address dementia at a national, regional, and global level through the development of a common research agenda policy and an international forum for disseminating evidence-based policy interventions. This PIA aims to evaluate and disseminate best practices from different countries on topics including: the financing of dementia care and support, public policies that address socio-economic inequalities for people living with dementia and their caregivers, and the development and refinement of national plans for dementia.
