Overview
PIA Objectives:
1. Develop a robust research forum to facilitate transdisciplinary conversations about the biological contributions of sex and gender to Alzheimer's disease including input from model systems, epidemiology, neuroscience, and genomics.
2. Provide training and support to help early career investigators properly integrate considerations around sex biology into their ongoing research.
3. Provide input and support on the Alzheimer's Association annual Facts and Figures section on sex biology to ensure it remains up-to-date and on the cutting-edge of scientific discovery.
4. Encourage PIA member-driven research projects on sex differences in AD and related disorders.
All members are welcome to join this PIA to connect with peers in the field.
